Chatting with the customer, examples:
1. The Welcome
Barber: "Hi there! Welcome."
Barber: "Please take a seat right here. How are we doing your hair today?"
Customer: "Just wanting a skin fade on the sides and a trim on top."
Barber: "Sounds good. Mid skin fade or low skin fade? And how much off the top?"
Customer: "Mid fade is good. Just take off half an inch on top so I can still comb it."
Barber: "Perfect."
2. Mid-Cut Feedback & Adjustments
Barber: "I’ve done a #2 on the sides so far. How does that length feel, or would you like to go shorter with a #1?"
Customer: "Actually, yeah, let's go a bit shorter."
Barber: "No worries at all, I'll drop it down to a #1."
3. Handling Complaints Politely
Customer: "Hmm, that side looks a bit uneven."
Barber: "Thanks for pointing that out. Let me adjust the mirror—is it near the crown or around the ear?"
Customer: "Just above the ear."
Barber: "Ah, I see it now. Let me blend that section in for you right away."
4. Finishing, Upselling & Payment
Barber: "Here's the mirror for the back. How does that look to you?"
Customer: "Looks great, thanks."
Barber: "Would you like any styling product in it today?"
Customer: "Just a bit of matte clay, please."
Barber: "There you go. That comes to £18 today. Cash or card?"
